Motorhome
Motorhomes are not allowed at the venue. You can, however, park your motorhome in the nearby Katra Autocamp. Be green and clean up around your motorhome! The organiser assumes no liability for damage or theft! |
ATM
You can find an ATM at the Petrol filling station in Vinica. ATMs will be refilled regularly, but we recommend that you bring sufficient cash with you. |
Further information
The number of three-day tickets is limited, so it is best to hurry up and purchase your ticket now! A separate entrance will be provided for visitors who bought three-day tickets. On Friday, the first day of the festival, the doors will open at 11:00. For those who plan to stay for three days, please note that this year’s tent camp will be bigger than ever! And for your hygiene needs, we have significantly expanded the available shower and toilet facilities. As for meals, this year’s offer of food and drink will be even more varied than last year (vegetarian meals will also be available) and the prices will be more than favourable. |
HOTPOINT phone charging stations
You will be able to recharge your portable devices at Schengenfest. There will be three separate locations with Hotpoint charging stations where you will be able to recharge your cell phones (all brands), iPods, Bluetooth headsets and certain digital cameras and video cameras. Recharging will be completely free and will take 15 minutes. |
Infopoint – Lost & Found
The Infopoint is situated at the venue entrance. The Infopoint offers everything you need to know about the festival. Please bring any items you find to the Infopoint. |
Public transport
To get to Schengenfest cheaply and in comfort, use the train. Train timetables: BUS There will be local buses to take you to and from the train station in Črnomelj and to the Schengenfest venue. |
CAMPING
Camping is included in the ticket price (this applies to day and three-day tickets). Please read the rules of camping under the last item of the FAQ. Camping is permitted only in the designated sites. Emergency routes must be kept clear and be unobstructed. The organiser assumes no liability for theft or injuries inside the venue! Please do not leave your tent behind and do not litter. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO LEAVE LARGE WASTE ITEMS BEHIND! Bringing couches, chairs, tables and similar items to the venue is strictly prohibited! Be green and clean up around your tent! |
Side programme
On Saturday and Sunday, the festival will feature a particularly rich programme. There will be sports games including basketball, badminton, volleyball, football and swimming in River Kolpa. Especially for this year, we have prepared an amusement park that will be open between 11:00 and 19:00, featuring rodeo, Space Trainer, bungee trampoline, American gladiator and foosball. Saturday and Sunday will also feature numerous workshops and competitions to spice up the action and liven up the mood. Afternoon and night-time activities on the beach by River Kolpa will include the sounds and moves of numerous DJs and dancers. There will also be laughs: on Saturday and Sunday, at 11:00, the small stage will host two popular plays: Čefurji raus! and Jamski človek. The main prize of this year’s Schengenfest is a piece of firewood (until a bigger prize is announced) that will be presented on Sunday at 20:20. |
Opening hours
The camping site opens at 11:00 on 3 August and closes at 14:00 on 6 August. Please note that your baggage will be searched at the entrance to the camping site and when entering the venue. Any potentially dangerous and prohibited items will be taken from you (alcohol, glass, cans, weapons, etc.). Possession of dangerous items is strictly prohibited and a violation of the festival’s rules.

PARKING
Please follow the parking rules. The organiser assumes no liability for damage or theft of parked vehicles! Emergency routes must be kept clear and be unobstructed so please do not park your car there. If any vehicle is found parked on an emergency route, it will be towed away. The car park opens at 9:00 on the first day of the festival. The entire venue will be closed before that. Camping on the car parks is prohibited for your own safety and will be strictly checked. |
THE RULES
In order to ensure the safety of everyone, there are rules and limitations that need to be observed at the venue. ALL VISITORS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE WITH THEM AN ID DOCUMENT. For people aged 16 and below, entry between 24:00 and 5:00 will only be allowed in the company of their parents or legal guardians. To ensure the safety of visitors, it is prohibited to bring weapons, fireworks, sharp objects, bottles, tins, cans, plastic bottles, alcohol, illegal drugs and other dangerous objects to the venue. You may bring food. It is not allowed to enter/exit the venu with food or drink. Bringing ALCOHOLIC beverages is NOT allowed. No open flames due to the danger of fire. The venue opens on Friday at 11:00. Entering the festival site before that will not be possible due to preparatory work. You will get a wristband for your ticket at the venue entrance. Re-entering the venue with a broken or damaged wristband is NOT possible. Entry for children aged up to and including 6 is free. Children aged up to and including 12 get a 50% discount on tickets bought at the festival. Festival visitors state that they are aware of all the risks associated with this event and waive any claims against the organiser (material damage, physical injury, etc.). Camping and parking at the venue is free. The organiser does not assume any liability for the parked vehicles. Photos, audio and video recordings will be published publicly (for the festival’s promotional purposes) without authorisation and compensation. Holders of day tickets must leave the venue by 10:00 of the next day. Swimming in River Kolpa is at your own risk. Swimming in River Kolpa at night is prohibited. The organiser does not assume any liability for stolen or lost belongings. The event will take place regardless of the weather conditions. |

Wristbands
On entering, you will receive a wristband in exchange for your ticket. The wristband will be placed on your wrist by the Infopoint staff at the entrance and is not transferrable. They will be handed out on Friday from 11:00 onwards and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 onwards. |
